Happy Easter from the Outer Banks! There are so many things going on this month, I don’t even know if I can fit them all in here!
First is the biggest Easter Eggstravaganza that we have in the Outer Banks. Manteo will host this event at Elizabethan Gardens. They have egg and scavenger hunts, balloons, a bake sale, a petting zoo and much much more. This is happening on April 4th between 10am and 2pm. Here is the link for more information.
Our 13th annual Bike Week is in April from the 18th to the 26th. Hopefully we have great weather for them! Here is a link for more information.
We have plenty of marathons, half marathons and 5 & 10K’s here but this one is the funniest. It is the annual Pirate marathon on the 18th and 19th! If you have never been, it’s definitely worth checking out. Here is a link for more information.
On April 30th is our annual surf competition at Jeannette’s Pier in Nags Head. Here is a link for more information.
My favorite would be the event on April 25th in Duck. It’s the Duck and Wine Festival at the waterfront shops. You do have to buy tickets so here is a link with more information.
